The Brief

Our clients required a solid wifi network and a simple solution to multi room music, lighting control, gate entry, heating and several bespoke media walls during the refurbishment of their home

The property already included Hik CCTV, in ceiling speakers and a Lutron homework’s lighting control system but the previous installer has poorly programmed the system and keypads had not been engraved so it was complex to use. All other systems were to be newly specified with a single control interface to make using all systems simple.

The Solution

The proposed system was simple and effective and involved reprogramming and engraving of the existing Lutron keypads and provision of a high quality ruckus Wifi network throughout.

A Wyrestorm 8 room 4k distribution system provided access to 4k sky boxes, CCTV and Apple TV media streamers in every room along with simple Sonos music players in several rooms and Sonos sound bars and subwoofers for the media walls

A heatmiser heating system and 2N gate intercom were also included and provided simple smart home integration via a Crestron control system which allowed us to tailor the user interface to be very simple and easy for the family to use.

Overall this a great example of a cost effective robust system which focus on the essential systems that every family requires being very simple and easy to operate.
