Our clients were looking for a simple control system to operate the properties lighting, heating, door entry and audio visual systems as part of a new build home. Music quality, reliable, simple operation and lighting were the key priorities.
Further to numerous demonstrations of the options available to them at the Finite Solutions award winning show house, our client selected the quality of TV screens and speakers in the various rooms with a Lutron lighting control system and Control4 control system to operate all aspects of the house.
The video systems installed utilise Sony and Loewe TV screens, Wyrestorm 4k video distribution systems throughout. The audio systems are mixed between B&W in ceiling speakers, Anthony Gallo mini book shelf speakers and Linn Klimax floor standing speakers in the garden room. All amplification and digital room correction is provided by Sonance and Linn DSP amplifiers and all equipment is housed in Mid Atlantic professional AV racks.
The media room utilises a Sim2 projector on a projector lift, 3m wide Screen Research drop down screen with B&W reference quality in ceiling speakers and Arcam amplification.
The main house cabling infrastructure was designed with the architects and interior designers to allow for a seamless discrete solution throughout the house and Finite Solutions technical managers and designers spent 100’s of hours working through the integration with all third party trades to ensure complete integration.
The cinema room was completely designed and installed by Finite Solutions which allowed us to maintain complete control over this room and to ensure all works met the acoustic standards, vital for a room of this quality!
Installation was first completed in the cinema room and then followed through in to the main house to integrate the two buildings and provide a complete control solution.
The client was delighted by the end result and the music quality throughout, ease of operation and lighting simplicity were the most noted features.
