The Brief

Our clients came to Finite Solutions looking to for a turn key design and fit out of a cinema and gaming room in the basement of their London property.

As the room was very long and thin creating a design that didn’t feel like a corridor was key and the clients wanted to be able to seat 4-6 people plus incorporate a bar area.

Audio visual quality was of equal importance to the interior design and the budget was where possible to be shared equally between both areas

The Interior Fit Out

To distract from the thin shape of the room our team created textured three dimensional wall panels wrapped in acoustically transparent fabric and backed with acoustic dampening material for the side walls.

The ceiling was dropped to accommodate in ceiling speakers and to allow for sound proofing above with a perimeter lighting hallo casting light down over the 3d wall panels.

2x tiers of Cineca reclining cinema chairs in suede fabric were installed on oak faced seating stages with a rear row using a custom made Corian topped bar and  matching bar stools to maximise the seating options.
