The Brief

Our clients came to Finite Solutions looking to for a turn key design and fit out of a luxury home cinema room in a basement room of their North London Home.

The priorities of this project were to deliver a luxurious, warm and comfortable interior that could seat at least 8 people alongside a reference standard Dolby Atmos cinema system with simple control linked to the wider houses Control4 smart home system and Lutron lighting control.

The Solution

Working to a interior vision and brief by the clients interior design our team created the overall room layout, acoustic, sound proofing and room shell design that would allow for appropriate positioning of all speakers and subwoofers to suit the optimum positions identify by modelling of the space and to provide viewing angles that adhere to the guidance of industry standards by SMPTE.

Our in house team delivered every aspect of the rooms fit out from basic stud walling and electrical works to final upholstery and joinery works including luxurious wood, leather and fabric finishes adorn the walls hiding all speakers and acoustic treatments and delivering the Luxurious but technically perfect finish envisioned.

After numerous showroom demonstration of various brands of equipment the Final specification of the system is as follow:

The End Result

After completing the room fit out and installation of all audio visual equipment the room was ISF calibrated and Trinnov acoustical optimised to delivered the very best performance in the room and the end results are simply outstanding.

Powerful, fast and highly detailed audio that Wisdom speakers are famous for create the true suspension of disbelief that makes movies in this room feel as close to real world as possible and as a gaming experience it is really on another level of emersion in the game that typical home systems cant come close too.
