Crestron and Control4 Control Systems

The majority of our smart home installations involve either Control4 or Crestron. These are the smart home control hubs to which all other hardware and software is connected.

Both Crestron and Control 4 have their advantages and disadvantages, depending on what you’re trying to achieve with your smart home. Fortunately, our smart home showroom in Cheadle is designed to allow guests to see the difference between the two systems.

Working side by side, you’ll be able to operate the lighting, heating, blinds, entertainment system, security features and more. Have fun whilst getting a feel for the capabilities of a smart home and imagining yourself owning one. Once done, you’ll have tested both systems to determine which is the right one for you.

Lighting Design and Control

The idea behind our Cheadle demonstration room is comparison, and lighting control is no exception here. Control of the lighting is a crucial element of a luxury smart home. It complements the interior design, gives the house character and a deluxe feel.

In the showroom, see how Lutron lighting and blinds are connected to both Lutron and Control 4 systems to control the levels of light. Experience for yourself the different capabilities that these leading systems present, including lighting automation, which can help with making the right decision for your home.

Our in-house lighting designers work with you from planning to completion. They can design lighting layouts that will enhance your interior and architectural style and provide the required flexibility and mood suitable for each room in the house.

Immersive Home Cinema

Whilst a smaller space than other showrooms, the Cheadle showroom has excellent entry level cinema demonstration capability.
Utilising a Sony 4K projector in combination with a 110″ SMS acoustically transparent screen built seamlessly into a bespoke media wall and a Sonance 5.2.2 Dolby Atmos surround sound system with Yamaha processing and amplification the room delivers high end performance and a reference point of what can be achieved prior to a wider cinema room demonstration at our Leeds Show House which features 3x dedicated cinema rooms

Our custom made range of cinema seats are also on display alongside Lutron lighting and blind control, the Kaleidescape reference movie server system and Control4 smart control.

Music Systems Comparison

Audio quality makes a huge difference to the enjoyment it provides. Our Cheadle smart home is equipped with a Control4 streaming music system, which is linked to built in speakers of various quality levels from Artcoustic, Bang and Olufsen, Sonance and B&W;

By comparing the different speaker systems on offer, you’re able to make a more confident decision about which system to invest in.

At the showroom, you’ll get the opportunity to see how smart technology can really enhance the security of a property.
