Both Finite and the client came up with lots of ideas
before settling on a multi purpose viewing and gaming
room. First Finite created a floating wall to house
the plasma screen and make the overall look aesthetically
pleasing. Then an electric drop down screen was added,
Xbox 360 and HD DVD player all simply controlled with
a Phillips pronto remote which completed the install.
With careful planning and refining as well as keeping
within budget, the client was extremely happy with
the end result.

Finite
were the only company to feature twice in the recent
Home Cinema Choice pullout feature on the CEDIA home
cinema awards. The 'Total Automation' home cinema certainly
has the wow factor. The room transformation has been
achieved with the clever use of iLight Zen lighting
as well as an automated gas fire place and window treatments
which can all be controlled with a single remote. The
'Rise and Fall' project, features an open plan living
area with a bespoke maccassor ebony cabinet where the
screen rises up through a specially designed mechanism
and then completely disappears when not in use.

home cinema room proved a challenge for Finite Solutions.
The client, a fine art and ancient antiquities dealer
required a state of the art cinema system which would
blend effortlessly into the open plan lounge yet be
hidden when not in use. A custom made macassar ebony
cabinet housed all the equipment and uses discreet technology
to effortlessly lift the screen out of the cabinet.
Finite solutions earned themselves an accolade in the
'Best home Cinema" category for this project at
this years Cedia Awards, proof yet again of a job well
