Local Home Entertainment Company See Stars
A Leeds based company are currently celebrating both moving in to unique new offices and reaching the finalist stage of the recent high profile HSBC Start up Stars Awards.
Finite Solutions, a home entertainment company specialising in high-end audio visual installations, impressed the Start up Stars judging panel (made up of HSBC’s Head of Business Banking, the Business Producer of Sky News, a Business Writer of the Daily Express, the European Marketing Director of Google and the MD of New Look amongst others) with their business innovation.
Finite Solutions who are now operating from a former, art deco style cinema in Leeds persuaded the judges that they had the determination, dedication, creativity and business acumen to succeed. The company, which is now two years old, provides affluent clients with home cinema rooms, multi room audio and video integrated with touch screen controls, hidden plasma screens, in-ceiling speakers, trapdoor projector screens and much more.
Finite Solutions was the brainchild of three Leeds University graduates who recognised a gap in the market for a consultancy that would design and install bespoke, state of the art entertainment systems in private homes.
Said Fraser Stride, Marketing Director of Finite Solutions: “We are all thrilled with this result because it shows that we’re gaining huge success despite limited resources – hard work and personal financial sacrifices rather than funding from private investors.”
The Finite staff think that their new retro premises are ideal for their business.
Continued Fraser: “The old, disused cinema is a fabulous base for us to work from and it gives us space to expand in to as the Finite team grows. We have just launched a show apartment in Leeds city centre and our next business goal is to launch a larger show home. These showcase state of the art audio, video and home automation technologies which will help to establish our brand as a household name in Yorkshire so watch this space.”
