High definition quality in every room
A multi room HD video system will provide instant simple to use access to multiple Sky HD boxes, CCTV, DVD and Blu-Ray libraries, PC's and games consoles allowing you to watch any source in any room in full 1080i/1080P high definition to ensure your TV screen display the best quality picture they capable of.
An integrated HD video system will locate all major video equipment in a centrally located AV rack and our cabling infrastructure will then distribute these video sources in HD to every TV screen. A unit known as a Matrix switch allows any room to watch any of the central sources independently, so for example the family room can be watching Sky HD box 1, the kitchen watching Sky HD box 2, the cinema room watching a stored blu-ray whilst the childrens bedroom are watching different stored DVD's in their rooms.
An intelligent easy to use remote control in each room will then make selecting what you would like to watch incredibly simple via the press of a button, our system will make the necessary changes and your selected Sky box or CCTV etc will instantly appear on the TV screen ready for you to choose which channel you want to watch.
Flexible Sky HD access
Should you have a larger property and large family and wish to be able to watch different Sky TV channels in different rooms at the same time then you will require a Sky multi room subscription. Where our systems differ from the standard Sky offering is that you do need a box per room that want independent Sky access in. We recommend a much more flexible and cost effective solution.
By understanding how many people in the house will want to watch different programs at the same time we specify this number of Sky boxes to be located in the central equipment rack, for example Dads Sky box, Mums Sky box and the children’s Sky box. With this system which ever room you go in to you can select and watch your own Sky box with all your stored recordings and programs, and pause a program and in one room and carry on watching in another without someone else accidently changing your Sky channels. This makes for a much more flexible system and also reduces your Sky subscription as less Sky boxes are now required.
Kaleidescape DVD/CD and Blu-Ray server
If you wish to store your DVD/blu-ray and music collection on a central system that will then allow you to browse you collection via the TV screen in any room and watch different movies simultaneously in any room then only one system will deliver the ease of use, reliability and performance that you require, the Kaleidescape system.
A myriad of these types of devices are available but after years of testing and trialing units only Kaleiedescape gives the experience we are happy to recommend to our clients. Other systems are simply too unreliable and require too much technical maintenance whereas with kaleidescape loading a film is as simple as putting the disc in the tray and pressing record – everything else is done automatically, and a you buy a licence with the kaleidescape system it legal too.
