Overview
	This project involved a full audio visual design of a new prestige 3 bedroom duplex apartment in Bramhope, Leeds.

The Brief
	This aspect of the project focuses on the main cinema room in the house which included a recessed Pioneer 50" plasma screen, with discreet in wall and in ceiling speakers and lighting control.

Budget :
	Approximately £7,000 to £10,000.

Source Equipment and Plasma Screen

The high gloss black Pioneer 50" High Definition plasma provides a fantastic focal point in the room. A high definition signal is streamed over CAT6 cable, from the HD Sky box located in the comms room 20m away.

This combined with the Denon 2910 DVD player with 720p upscaling provides a wide range of content allowing the client to enjoy spectacular imagery on the plasma screen.

A specially deigned Future Automation swivel bracket allows the screen to be recessed into the wall but can then be pulled out with a 45 degree viewing angle to cater for any seating position within the room.

Amplification and Loudspeakers

The client wanted extremely high quality cinema speakers, but did not want conventional floor standers or bookshelf speakers. We therefore specified Sonance's THX certified in wall and in ceiling speakers.with a MJ acoustics subwoofer.

A dark oak MJ Acoustics Reference 1 subwoofer matching the rest of the furniture is discreetly located in the corner of the room behind the sofa.

A Denon 2805 cinema amplifier located in a custom built cupboard in the adjoining dining room completes the system.

Lighting and Control

Helvar 4 scene lighting control has been incorporated into the room. It's simple, yet attractive keypad (pictured below) providing four scenes of lighting within the room, creating different moods by utilising all the different types of lighting within the room.

A Marantz RC9500 was custom programmed by Finite Solutions for simple operation of all the AV equipment, but also integrates with the lighting, remote controlled lighting and security gates to provide a truly seamless control interface.
