On this project our services were chosen to undertake the audio aspect of the complete renovation of a large rectory in Leeds. |

The client wanted a subtle, but high quality, Linn Knekt music system to cover six rooms and to allow for full digital storage of their CD collection which is then accessible independently, from each room. |

Using a 6 zone Linn Intersekt system and the superb B&W CCM65 in ceiling speaker each room has full independent audio control over both radio and CD playback and a central Kivor Hard Disk server.
The only visible aspect is the Linn keypad located discreetly in the wall of the master bedroom (plus sub zones in en-suite and dressing room), lounge, drawing room, dining room and kitchen. The main hub of the system is Linn's highly acclaimed Kivor CD archiving unit. Its 320GB hard disk allows storage of up to 500 hours of uncompressed music at lossless CD quality. |

| Browse stored CDs on in-wall keypads |
The Linn keypads display all the relevant track and album information allowing the client to browse through the entire CD collection in any room just using the simple in-wall keypad.
Each room can listen to different CDs, or the client can have the same CD playing in more than one room or even the whole house.
The major benefits of the Kivor system over other cheaper MP3 based systems is that all the music is stored in a lossless format, ensuring the playback is at true CD quality. |

A discreet solution |
We also added two Denon multi CD players to allow simple playback of non-stored CDs and 2 Linn Pekin tuners. These combined with the B&W CCm65 in-ceiling speakers to give pristine sound quality in the cavernous ceiling space.
Two pairs of speakers were used in the kitchen, lounge and also the dining room. All the equipment is kept in a small corner cupboard in the dressing room on a custom made glass shelving unit so that it is hidden but there is easy access to change the CDs from time to time.
