Featuring on the television program “Britain’s Best Homes” this ultra modern flat in London was an empty shell when we were first called in to provide a simple but high quality audio visual system for the main living area, kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. |

The client wanted a completely discreet audio distribution system in 5 rooms with access to stored CD’s and radio with a top quality cinema system in the lounge that was invisible when not in use. |

| A Discrete System was High Priority |
This lavish flat is the showcase of Julie Richards Architectural Design, a London based architectural design practice. Attention was paid to every last detail in the design of this luxury apartment. It was imperative that the audio visual element could be integrated without any compromise of the aesthetics of the property.
The clients main priority was to incorporate a high quality audio distribution system, that would be intuitive to use, but would be practically invisible. It was for this reason that we specified the Crestron Adanto system.

The Adanto provides an easy way to store and catalogue a complete music collection, with instant access to any album or track from touch panels, keypads and computers throughout the home. The 4 discreet stereo outputs allows four different CDs to be enjoyed in four different rooms at once, or the same CD throughout multiple rooms, all with audiophile quality.
The AAS Audio Server is a hard disk based audio system that can store hundreds of hours of music, all with the convenience of easy browsing and instant access. The friendly onscreen menu shows full album, track, and artist names as well as album cover art. |

A bespoke media centre PC was built by Finite Solutions to provide true 1080i image up scaling from all DVDs in the lounge cinema, and also allows music to be browsed on the projector via the Adanto visual interface.
Two wall mount touch panels in the Bathroom and Bedroom provide simple access to all the Adanto stored music, whilst a wireless removable touch panel in the kitchen (pictured below) can be used anywhere in the property to control music in any of the rooms.
