   Overview
This room was part of the larger Linn multi-room project completed in Barwick in Elmit, Leeds. The family wanted to keep the living room "TV free", so chose to use this room as a dedicated TV and cinema room for enjoying movies and Sky.

   The Brief
The client requested a sleek looking 43" plasma TV that would sit above the fire place and would act as an attractive feature within the room.
    Budget :
  Approximately £10,000 - £15,000
Source Equipment and Plasma Screen

As the project was part of a whole house refurbishment we were able to run all cables when the room was essentially a shell. This allowed us to position the plasma screen above the fireplace without any visible cables, and also place all the source equipment hidden away in the corner of the room.

The Pioneer 436-XDE 43" plasma screen with its high gloss black finish is capable of producing an absolutely incredible picture. This combined with the Denon 3910 DVD player with 1080i upscaling, and a High Definition Sky box makes the most of the fantastic capabilities of this screen.

Amplification and Loudspeakers

A Denon 4306 was chosen because of its superior audio performance and huge power - 7 x 130 watts. B&W FPM4 speakers were deemed an appropriate match for the source equipment and amplification resulting in an extremely crisp and detailed sound.

The client was particularly happy with the high gloss black finish that matches the Pioneer screen perfectly and complements the screen as the centre piece of the room.

The speakers were then matched with the spherical and stylish B&W PV1 subwoofer, capable of producing a massive bass response for its size.
